Stefano Pasini

Stefano Pasini was born in Bologna on April 28, 1957. He graduated in Medicine and Surgery in 1984 and specialized in Ophthalmology summa cum laude in 1988. He immediately began practicing as an ophthalmologist and eye surgeon, a profession he continues full-time today at the “Madre Fortunata Toniolo” Clinic in Bologna. He has been married to Anna Migliorini, who holds a degree in Modern Foreign Languages and Literature, since 1996. He personally manages his website, www.stefanopasini.it, which currently has approximately 1,600,000 views. 
He is a member of the Circolo Tennis Bologna and the Golf Club Bologna, and a founding member of the Rotary Club Bologna “Carducci.” Pasini has had a passion for modern and vintage cars since 1975, collaborating with various automotive magazines and publishing over thirty books on the subject, as well as four historical novels and other specialized works. 
A former member of the Mille Miglia Honorary Committee and a permanent judge at the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este since 2012, he has served as a judge at several prestigious Concours events (Athens, Blenheim Palace–Salon Privé, Kyoto). He is also President of the Jury at the Concorso d’Eleganza Palazzo di Varignana and the Lamborghini Concours in Neuchâtel and Porto Piccolo. Since 2020, he has served as Mentor of the Lamborghini Advisory Board for the evaluation of classic models.

Stephen Bayley

Stephen Bayley is co-founder of London’s influential Design Museum. He is one of the world’s best-known commentators on design and popular culture whose many books include: In Good Shape, Harley Earl and the Dream Machine, Sex Drink and Fast Cars, Taste, Design: intelligence made visible, Death Drive and The Age of Combustion.

He is an Honorary Fellow of The RIBA, Honorary Visiting Professor at Liverpool University School of Architecture and a Chevalier de l’Ordre des Arts et Lettres, France’s highest artistic award. Presently, he is Chairman of TheRoyal Fine Art Commission Trust, lives in London and drives a Skoda.

Alessandra Giorgetti

Alessandra Giorgetti was born on June 24, 1973, in Milan—the very same date Alfa Romeo was founded in 1910 in the same city. Raised in a world surrounded by cars from day one, she is a passionate collector of vintage cars. Her family has run a company specializing in spare parts and vintage components since 1946.
She is Vice President of the Registro Internazionale Touring Superleggera. She has been involved in the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este since 1999. From 2006 to 2017, she served on the board of the Registro Italiano Alfa Romeo (RIAR), the official Alfa Romeo Club recognized by the Alfa Romeo brand under Stellantis, organizing numerous events and cultural gatherings.

Since 2020, she has served as a judge at various international Concours d’Elegance.

Laura Kukuk

Engineer Laura Kukuk von Glahn is an international expert in certifications, consulting and due diligence in the collector vehicle sector. In addition to teaching automotive engineering at the University of Applied Sciences Cologne, she is a juror at the prestigious Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance as well as at Villa d'Este. Her vision is to bring security to the world of the global collector's market.

François Melcion

François Melcion was just 15 years old when he bought his first classic car, a 1932 Citroën C4 Torpedo, which still stands proudly in his garage today and marked the beginning of his passion. Starting in 1976, he managed Retromobile, the renowned Paris exhibition, until stepping down in 2018.

Recognized internationally as an expert in vintage automobiles, he is frequently invited to serve on the judging panels of the world’s most prestigious concours d’elegance events: Villa d'Este, Pebble Beach, Chantilly Arts & Elegance, and many others across the globe.

A passionate advocate for cars “in original condition,” François has a particular fondness for pre-war models—especially Bugatti and Alfa Romeo—as well as for those from the 1950s and ’60s. He never hesitates to drive his cars at every opportunity.

Gianni Mercatali

From 1977 to 1979, he was Head of Communications at Laika Caravans for the development of the first Italian motorhome, the Motorpolo. From 1981 to 1986, he contributed to the editorial team of Symbol, the house organ for Rolls-Royce, Ferrari, and Riva. In 1982, he collaborated on the editorial team for the book I Love GTO, published by Linea Italiana (Mondadori) to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the iconic Ferrari GTO model.

From 1987 to 2007, he worked with the editorial team of Nonsolomoda (a lifestyle program on Canale 5 directed by Fabrizio Pasquero), focusing on vintage cars. In 2010, 2011, and 2012, he was involved in organizing Unique Special One Auto. In 2023 and 2024, he served as a member of the jury for the Varignana 1705 Concours d’Elegance.

Adolfo Orsi

Adolfo Orsi Jr. developed his passion for motorcars in his youth, when his family owned the Maserati company. He is an historian of Italian motorsport and staunch advocate of preservation; he curated several exhibitions and he authors since 1994 the Classic Car Auction Yearbook, the reference book providing an in-depth analysis of international auction sales. He served since its inception in 1999 as Chief Class Judge of the FIVA Award in Pebble Beach, he has been Chief Judge of the Ferrari 60 th and 70 th and judged at over 145 Concours worldwide.

Lorenzo Ramaciotti

Lorenzo Ramaciotti was born in Modena, working in car design for forty years. Head of Design in Pininfarina from 1998 to 2005, having spent more than thirty-two years with the company. Chief Design Officer of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles and member of the Group Executive Council from 2007 to 2016.

He has led the design development of more than sixty automobiles. He is President of the Jury at Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este since 2004,judging in historical car events since more than thirtyfive years.

Peter Read

Peter Read is the chairman of the judges at The London Concours and a member of the selection committee for the Concours of Elegance at Hampton Court.  He was chairman of the Motoring Committee and a Board Member of the Royal Automobile Club for six years until 2023.  Peter has been a passionate car enthusiast all his life and has owned many exciting cars from an Alfa Romeo 6C to a Pagani Zonda.  Many of his cars have been Italian including early and more modern Ferrarls.  His Lamborghini collection has included the Miura, Countach and Diablo and he still owns a 400GT once owned by Paul McCartney.
